I think you will find that this is the `Top of the Grid` at Edge Hill.
The Anglican Cathedral can be seen in the middle left distance of the picture and in the middle right distance can be seen the Plessey Works,located off Edge Lane,with the Littlewoods building Tower just visible behind the telegraph pole(adjacent to the person seen on the ground)and above the Plessey Works. An excellent photograph.!
