Dear Jenny,

How are you ? Well,I hope.

I remember Keith Rose in the late 1960`s - he lived in Walton (near Walton Church,as I recall).

I did know him but not all that well.
He would travel on the footplate from Aintree to Edge Hill, usually with Aintree drivers and firemen
as he got to know a few of them.
I`ve actually got a photograph of him on the footplate of a Class 8F locomotive coming into Edge Hill in 1967(At Waterloo Sidings - oppposite your building on platform 1 at Edge Hill).

I`ll copy it and bring it in for you to put on the archive when I`m next in Liverpool.
Maybe he will see it and actually remember who I am..!
Fancy him turning up after all these years..!

I hope you are keeping well - I have not been able to get to recent exhibitions at Edge Hill but I will return soon.

Take care.

Best Regards.

Dennis.
