One of the images donated to Metal by Eric Shenton. This 1974 photograph shows the now-overgrown Wapping Tunnel and Park Lane goods yard. As with the Chatsworth Street Cutting, the Moorish Arch site and Edge Hill station (prior to its renovation by Metal), this is yet another example of the decay of Liverpool’s railway heritage
