Letter from Vivienne Lord to Mr. Russell Davies 20th February 1981

This is a letter from Vivienne to Mr.Davies written on the 20th February 1981. It confirms that the History of Edge Hill Brass Band booklet Mr. Russell Davies was working on for the Edge Hill BR Brass Band Centenary never materialised. She is the daughter of the band member Fred Lord that Russell Davies was researching for the booklet. In the letter she reveals one of his favourite songs was ‘Roses in Picardy’.
